Bio Synth Workshop, 2012-ongoing
The Bio Synth Workshop is a workshop for people of all ages with no prior knowledge or experience in electronics needed. The workshop is a hands-on instrument building experiment that provides participants with a basic synthesiser circuit, an introduction to understanding the basic circuit and a chance to discover and experiment with ways of modifying and personalising the circuit. Participants are encouraged to experiment and expand their circuit outside of the boundaries of traditional electronic components by adding natural and manufactured found objects and plant-life of their choosing as control inputs, essentially learning how to play their environment.
The workshop has been adapted and included in programs for adults, small children and people of all ages.
