Pia Plays : A New Topical Blog

So... with friendfeed, twitter and the 'share with notes' feature that pipes my RSS to my ff account, it has finally become unnecesary for me to have a general blog. I realised this thankfully while starting a new design for my professional website which has been long awaited (mostly by me). This website is my first attempt at working with the Drupal platform. It's been really great to learn the backend. I would not have been able to do it without my main-man Boris :) I hope I will get a chance to make more things with Drupal in the future.

So I felt it was time to rethink my blogging approach and I realised I could finally focus on something more specific that inspires me and maybe start exercising some thought in a crititcal capacity. So it took me seconds to realise that I can't help but want to follow on where I left off with my academic studies with a study on the ideas on 'play' in the context of art, music, design and interactive technology.

I will credit a blog entitled "Playpen : Notes on interactivity, play and service science" written by Andy Polaine. Andy is an interaction designer currently based in Germany. He is a former lecturer of mine from COFA. I have been somewhat inspired by his blog concept and approach.

Anyway... I hope you enjoy reading this. I hope I might justify the attention of a few more readers than I have so far with my tumblr blog. If you are wondering where to find all the other stuff I am interested in you might like to visit my friendfeed.
