Signaux
This is the name for a body of work I am currently working on. The work includes a series of audio/video instruments for live performance.
The first work in the series was exhibited at Firstdraft Gallery as a part of their studio residency program. The Video Harp is a audio/video 'mixing' device or switcher in the form of an 8 stringed instrument. Each string carrying a single audio or video signal, can be strummed with stringed bows or plucked with gloves carrying a contact point on each finger.
